(IDEX Online) - Face masks are being sold online to raise funds for Jewelers for Children.

New York-based jewelry companies SDC Designs and SHR Jewelry Group are tapping into their manufacturing resources to help a charity that has donated nearly $57m to kids' programs since it was founded in 1999.

"Everyone is going to need access to masks as our industry follows guidelines set by the CDC," said Scott Rauch of SHR. 

"Partnering with Jewelers for Children on this just made sense to help them continue their mission and fundraising efforts."

The masks are washable, black with a color JFC logo and cost $20 for a pack of five, with 20 per cent going to charity.

Jewelers for Children helps St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Make-A-Wish America, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, National CASA Association, Make-A-Wish International and the Santa-America Fund.
